Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Records imprint is pretty much in a league of its own; some would even go as far as saying it’s a tastemaker label. The latest release comes from the Italian connection of Leon & NiCe7, accompanied by a remix from Serge Devant – as well as individual dubs from NiCe7 and Leon.

What To Expect: Hedonistic and Tribal undertones, as you would come to expect from the label – given Damian’s artistic sound which ebbs and flows continuously through the imprint’s release catalogue. Rich tonal frequencies and melodies in a variety of forms, spurring from hand instruments, keys, strings, synths and all manner of sound-creating devices. The EP is a unique blend of peaceful vibes and deep-rooted rhythms that talk to you on a very basic human level. Sam Threadgold’s vocals are perfectly fitting for the tracks, and they’re put to creative use throughout the release!
